Neil Talegaonkar frequently counsels employers on compliance with various state and federal employment laws, including the ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, and a myriad of other issues surrounding hiring, discipline, and termination. A substantial amount of his practice is also devoted to the drafting of personnel policies. He also frequently drafts and negotiates employment agreements, including physician’s agreements.
Mr. Talegaonkar has litigated issues involving non-compete agreements, trade secrets, wrongful discharge, business torts, breach of contract, race, sex, pregnancy and disability discrimination, sexual harassment, wage claims, and mechanic’s liens. He also represented clients in state and federal courts in toher areas of practice including commercial disputes and consumer finance law. His practice regularly takes him before state and federal courts and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
