Hugh T. Antrim

A principal since 1981, Mr. Antrim has been associated with Thompson McMullan since 1978. He currently serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Antrim heads the Firm’s Trusts and Estates practice. In this role he has prepared hundreds of testamentary documents, served as the fiduciary for selected clients, assisted in the administration of estates, and successfully litigated matters regarding the enforceability and interpretation of wills and trust documents prepared by others.

A native of Richmond, Mr. Antrim took a B.A. degree in English from the University of Virginia in 1971, where he was a member of the Thirteen Society. As an undergraduate, Mr. Antrim served as Sports Editor to the University’s daily newspaper and was elected Vice President of the Student Council. Before enrolling in law school, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies. He graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1975 where he was a member of the Law Review.

Mr. Antrim is a past Chairman of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the Virginia State Bar and currently serves on the Virginia State Bar Council.
