J. Christopher Morris

Christopher Morris joined ThompsonMcMullan in August 2001, after completing a one-year clerkship with the Hon. B. Waugh Crigler, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Virginia.

Mr. Morris is a May 2000 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as a Clerk for the Hon. Edward L. Hogshire, Circuit Judge for the City of Charlottesville, and as an executive editor of the Virginia Tax Review.

A native of Winchester, Virginia, Mr. Morris graduated from John Handley High School in 1993. Thereafter, he attended the University of Virginia, where he received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Classics and Economics in 1997.

Mr. Morris’ practice focuses on corporate law, commercial transactions and taxation. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia and Richmond Bar Associations.
