Thompson McMullan defends the interests of self-insured corporations, insurance companies and their policy holders in bodily injury, wrongful death and property damage claims. The firm litigates these cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and in extra judicial forums such as binding arbitration and mediation. We pursue recovery for our insurance clients in subrogation matters.

William W. Tunner manages this area. William W. Tunner has a broad range of experience defending bodily injury, death and property claims and has been named by Super Lawyers Magazine to their Up and Coming under 40 list of the top lawyers in the state under the age of 40 for the practice areas of casualty defense and general litigation. Mr. Tunner is a member of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys and the Defense Research Institute.

The Firm has defended various school boards in multi-million dollar injury litigation, a local college in multi-million dollar brain injury litigation, trucking companies in various cases, and pharmacies in prescription miss-fills.
