ThompsonMcMullan is proud to announce that Joley L. Eason has received the Legal Information Network for Cancer Krista Latshaw Volunteer Attorney of the Year award.

LINC is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping cancer patients, survivors, and their families with the business side of cancer. LINC serves the Greater Richmond community in Virginia, and provides information, education and referral services for legal, financial and community resources to individuals confronted with the overwhelming issues that arise from the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The award is named for Krista Latshaw, a dedicated LINC volunteer attorney to honor her legacy of commitment, sacrifice and humility. The award is presented each year to a volunteer attorney who has demonstrated a commitment to clients, and who has been willing to provide pro bono services to numerous cancer patients who had nowhere else to turn in a time of need.

Ms. Eason is an attorney with the law firm of ThompsonMcMullan, and focuses her practice in the field of elder law. She has long history of dedication to pro bono and volunteer work. “Working with LINC has given me the opportunity to meet and help many wonderful individuals and their families, and I am honored to accept this award.”
