Christopher Roberson Elected to Office of Aging and Disability Services Board

Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law attorney Christopher Roberson has been elected to the Office of Aging and Disability Services with the City of Richmond for a term effective September 14, 2026. The Board was created to provide advice and recommendations to the City Council on matters concerning senior citizens and persons with disabilities and provide a report of the Board’s advice and recommendations as required and upon the request of the Council. The Board is also tasked with working with residents of the city, the City Administration, the Council and businesses to develop and increase access to consumer-oriented and community-based services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. In addition, the Board is responsible for developing and making available for public comment an assessment of local needs and priorities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities and providing their assessment to the Council in the form of a report.

The Board is comprised of 11 members, each of whom are nominated and appointed by the Council, with varying lengths of each term.
