Appellate attorney John O’Herron is presenting a CLE session at this year’s Summer Meeting, hosted by the Virginia Bar Association, titled Human Principles of Legal Writing in an AI World. In today’s work, AI poses risks and limitations in drafting and tried-and-true legal writing principles remain essential for effective representation. Speaking alongside Robert Loftin of McGuireWoods, John’s session will offer cautionary tales from recent cases as context for discussing ethical issues and AI tool and will highlight how to keep traditional legal writing skills sharp in spite of current technology.
The CLE is presented by the VBA Appellate Practice Section, of which John serves as Council member.
