ThompsonMcMullan is pleased to announce the addition of Matthew T. Anderson as an associate. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and labor and employment law.
Prior to joining ThompsonMcMullan, Matt worked on the Labor & Employment team at an AMLaw 150 firm.
Matt focuses on state and federal rules and regulations related to hiring, retaining, and firing. In particular, he has years of experience advising companies and nonprofits in matters related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and issues surrounding discrimination and regulatory compliance. He represents small and mid-size companies and nonprofits, and has worked with one of the nation’s largest financial institutions. Matt is an alumnus of University of Richmond Law School, where he received his JD magna cum laude, and Washington and Lee University.
