RICHMOND, VIRGINIA (January 4, 2019) — ThompsonMcMullan is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas D. “Duggan” O’Dea as an associate. His practice focuses on corporate governance and general business counsel, including real estate matters and corporate finance transactions.
Duggan joins ThompsonMcMullan after practicing on a structured finance and securitization team at an AMLAW 200 firm.
Duggan is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and, in addition to his military service, is a retired law enforcement officer, having served as a deputy sheriff, special agent for the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (ABC), and master police officer. Duggan is an alumnus of The College of William and Mary, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. He then attended the University of Richmond School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Bloomberg Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law.
