Unicolors vs. H&M Amicus Brief

On September 28, 2021, Director John O’Herron filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court of the United States on behalf of Professor Victoria Burke in Unicolors Inc. v. H&M Hennes & Mauritz, L.P. stating the trust that underlies the copyright application process should impact § 411(b)’s “knowledge” requirement.
