Appellate and litigation partner John O’Herron is partnering with Andrew T. Landrum of Block, Inc. and the Richmond Bar Association’s Senior Lawyers and Corporate Counsel Sections to present a CLE titled “Basics of AI for Law Practice”. Their course will offer attendees a practical introduction to generative AI for legal professionals, covering the basics of prompts and how to protect confidential client data. John and Andrew will present real-world use cases for brainstorming, drafting, and preparing for argument, and discuss ways AI can streamline practice management, from email organization and search to business development and law firm finance. The program will end with a look at the ethical considerations and cautionary tales every lawyer should know before putting AI to work.

Attendees will receive two hours of MCLE credits; registration can be completed here.
