Civil Litigation attorneys Rachel Adams, Sean Breit-Rupe, and Billy Tunner are once again presenting a Mock Trial at this year’s Virginia Association of Regional Jails (VARJ) Annual Conference. Scheduled for 10:15a on April 1st, their session – Civil Litigation Mock Trial & VaRISK (part 1) – will involve a Title VII reverse racial discrimination claim and First Amendment retaliation claim asserted by former employee against Defendant Virginia Regional Jail and the Superintendent. The attorneys slated on this presentation will provide an inside look into a civil trial in a relatable way, consisting of mock opening statements, plaintiff’s case, defense case, closing, and deliberation.
This year’s conference will feature a host of presenters who will discuss emerging issues and hot topics, provide training on critical practices, and much more. Hosted over a three-day period, the annual event provides training, professional development, and networking for attendees.
