ThompsonMcMullan is pleased to announce that attorneys Lindsay Pickral and Carolyn White have been chosen to receive the John C. Kenny Pro Bono Award for 2021 by the Board of Directors of the Bar Association of the City of Richmond. This award is presented to members of the legal profession, law firms, or organizations that have demonstrated dedication to the development, implementation, and delivery of legal services to the poor and underprivileged members of the community in the Richmond area. Lindsay and Carolyn have provided pro bono support to the Medical Legal Partnership at VCU Health, guiding the organization on guardianship issues, estate planning matters, and general legal concerns, benefiting many low income patients who otherwise wouldn’t have received assistance.
The award will be conferred during a ceremony and awards luncheon scheduled for November 18, 2021. Congrats to both attorneys on a well-deserved recognition for all their hard work.
