Former Intelligence Officer with the Air Force, cybersecurity professional, and business owner Phillip A. Sitz has joined ThompsonMcMullan as an associate with our Civil Litigation practice.
During his time as an undergraduate and military officer, Phil learned to speak Arabic, a language he still practices today, and cultivated a professional interest in cybersecurity. Upon transitioning out of the Air Force, Phil entered the field of cybersecurity, starting a firm that serviced mid-size and major defense contractors with a business partner. During this time, Phil also enrolled in law school and attended night classes at Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law while continuing to manage his business full-time. This schedule not only prepared Phil for a full caseload, but allows him to relate to his clients from a business perspective. Additionally, his experience in technology and his cybersecurity expertise provides him with a strong background in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
