Zac Cohen Named as Virginia’s Go To Lawyers for Intellectual Property Law 2022

Director Zac Cohen has been named by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a Go To Lawyer in the field of intellectual property law in the commonwealth of Virginia.

Now in its third year, the “Go To Lawyers” program recognizes leading attorneys in a particular practice area who are experts in his or her field, having built a reputation as being well-versed in the nuances of the case law, statutes, and regulations clients will encounter. As an IP attorney, Zac represents businesses and individuals in both transactions and disputes related to trademarks, copyrights, e-commerce, advertising, intellectual property rights, data privacy and security, and licensing. He often plays a key role in ThompsonMcMullan’s litigation practice and has handled a wide range of matters in both state and federal courts, including claims involving the right of publicity, ownership of mobile applications and software, and breach of contract. His cases have been highlighted in prominent media outlets, including The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, The Daily Progress, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and CNBC.

Congrats to Zac and his fellow honorees, who will be recognized in a special section of the Virginia Lawyers Weekly September issue.
