Overview
For trademarks to retain their value, they must remain protected. We work with our clients to both police their trademarks in the public sphere and to defend them against trademark infringement.
Our trademark enforcement efforts include sending cease-and-desist letters, negotiating use restrictions or abandonment, and filing notices of opposition or cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of our clients, as well as defending our clients against those actions. We have an enviably successful track record of litigating cases involving trademark infringement, the right of publicity, and cybersecurity, as well as disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
