2023 VARJ Annual Conference

Civil litigation attorneys Rachel Adams and Billy Tunner were invited to present at this year’s annual Virginia Association of Regional Jails Conference, one of the largest correctional training conferences in the state. Alongside Annika Melton with the Department of Risk Management, the session provided an overview of the Virginia Constitutional Officer and Regional Jail Risk Management Plan; suggestions and recommendations for regional jails; and an overview of the types of claims received, settled, and tried. The session concluded with a question and answer period and a mock trial was hosted during the afternoon session.
