About the Panel:
JUSTICE, EQUITY, DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSION IN THE ENERGY WORKPLACE: LOFTY IDEALS OR ATTAINABLE GOALS?
This powerhouse panel of super lawyers in the utility space will discuss the importance of recruiting inclusive legal teams (in-house) in the energy field. The panel, moderated by Kodwo Ghartey – Tagoe, Duke Energy, will feature lawyers from a variety of backgrounds and survey all of the creative and innovative work they are doing to address environmental justice and equity issues. General Counsels from Southern and Dominion, Jim Kerr and Carlos Brown, utility strategist Divesh Gupta, and environmental justice expert Cliona Robb, plan to share their perspective, challenges, experiences and lessons learned when working to promote a more equitable future for their legal teams which ultimately benefit clients, stakeholders, customers and communities.
