Congratulations to attorneys Peter Askin and Catherine Chapman on their elections to the The Virginia Bar Association (VBA) Administrative Law Council. With terms beginning this month, Peter’s Council membership will run through May of 2027 and Catherine’s will run through May of 2026. The Council serves as the governing body of the Administrative Law Section of the VBA, which is comprised of attorneys who practice before, or serve as counsel to, the commonwealth’s administrative agencies. The mission of the Council is to promote professional advocacy before such agencies through educational programs and publications. With the VBA staff, the Section publishes an annual summary of legislation passed by the General Assembly relating to administrative practice for its members.
