ThompsonMcMullan Elects New President

ThompsonMcMullan is pleased to announce that William W. Tunner has been named President of the firm. After serving 20 years as the firm’s President, Christopher M. Malone will now act as emeritus and advisor to the firm’s executive committee, as well as maintaining his active legal practice.

Rebecca C. Bowen and Mark R. Colombell have been named to the firm’s Executive Committee.

“It has been an honor to work with Chris for the past 21 years.  Our firm has quadrupled in size under his leadership.  Chris always emphasized service to clients and the community, and the firm will continue to emphasize those priorities.” Mr. Tunner said.

Under Mr. Malone’s management, the firm has grown from 9 attorneys in 2000 to 33. “It has been a privilege to serve in this role for these many years. I look forward to completing my career with the firm and helping to preserve the values that have brought us this far,” said Mr. Malone.

Mr. Tunner is a litigator and advocate, who represents  businesses, professionals, and individuals in civil litigation in state and federal courts,  and in regulatory matters before state boards. He regularly defends public officials, law enforcement, and municipalities in civil rights and related litigation, and has been with the firm since 2000.

Mr. Malone represents individuals and businesses in corporate and litigation matters and began his legal career with the firm in 1981.
