Elder Law attorney Paul Izzo has been selected by the Virginia state Ombudsman, Joanie Latimer, to present at a conference in Richmond titled “Bridging the Gaps and Navigating the Sticking Points: Tools that Support and Assist Decision Making”. Organized by the Virginia Long Term Care Ombudsman, the audience will consist of approximately 50 long term care Ombudsmen from across the state and is closed to the public.

The Virginia Long Term Care Ombudsman serves as an advocate for the elderly receiving long term care services, providing them and their families with information, advocacy, and assistance to help resolve problems. The goal of the Ombudsman is to bring about changes at the local, state, and national levels to improve care and quality of life.
