A corporate attorney who brings a foundation of hospitality to her client relationships
Lindsey Whitlow is an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions, Corporate and Real Estate practice group. She is experienced in negotiating purchase and sale agreements for the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate assets, including office buildings, retail properties, hotels, industrial properties, multi-family, and multi-use properties. She advises clients regarding real estate finance documents and loan agreements for senior and bridge financing, as well as commercial leasing and corporate entity formation and structure and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining ThompsonMcMullan, Lindsey was with a boutique transactional firm where her practice consisted of real estate, corporate, and private securities work, in addition to a clerkship with the Honorable Elizabeth C. Wingo, Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Before clerking, she served as a Buswell research fellow and assistant director of research for the Center for Legal & Court Technology (CLCT) in Williamsburg, Virginia where she researched the implications of the use of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things in the legal field. Lindsey also held a role as a trademark intern for the Major League Baseball Office of the Commissioner in New York.
In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys singing, cooking, and traveling. Her favorite travel destination to date is a recent road trip along the southern coast of Ireland, where she drove over 1,000 kilometers on the left-hand side of the road, and a tour of several Balkan nations, where she enjoyed learning bits of new languages.
