Energy and Telecommunications practice group lead Cliona Mary Robb is presenting at the Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) Energy Regulation 101 Workshop, an event offering a refresher and overview on energy policy in Virginia. Moderated by Howard Spinner of NOVEC, Cliona will serve as a panelist alongside representatives from the Virginia Attorney General’s Office, the State Corporation Commission (SCC), and Lighthouse Policy and Law. Workshop topics include the role SCC Regulators play in the consumer prices and reliability of energy, in addition to the role of PJM Interconnection in consumer prices, capacity, and reliability of electricity. The goal of the session is to ensure understanding amongst attendees of how energy regulations works in the Commonwealth.
This session is scheduled the day before the annual Virginia Energy Summit as a means to kick off the event that brings together industry experts and thought leaders to educate attendees around energy innovation, policy, affordability, and access.
