Attorney Peter Askin has been selected to serve as the keynote speaker at the Carrico Center’s Pro Bono Certificate Ceremony and Recognition Program with the University of Richmond School of Law. Honoring 30 graduates who collectively represent over 5,000 service hours, the program will be followed by a reception to recognize the students’ efforts. As a Firms in Service representative with the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation, Peter collaborates with 15 other law firms and businesses that are committed to increasing the availability of pro bono legal services for the underserved in the Greater Richmond community. Each member firm commits to providing volunteer hours and financial support for pro bono. It’s Peter’s commitment to providing pro bono legal services to the community that gives him the experience and knowledge to present the keynote for the event.
