ThompsonMcMullan, P.C. Elects Shareholders for 2022

ThompsonMcMullan is pleased to announce the election of five shareholders based in our downtown Richmond office: Zachary D. Cohen, John P. O’Herron, Michael J. Quinan, Cliona Mary Robb, and Andrea J. Yoak.

Zac Cohen focuses his practice in intellectual property, offering guidance and representation to businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals in connection with both transactions and disputes related to trademarks, copyrights, e-commerce, advertising, intellectual property rights, data privacy and security, and licensing. He has handled a wide range of matters in both state and federal courts. 

John O’Herron concentrates his practice in appellate litigation and motions practice in both state and federal courts. Serving individuals, businesses, and government clients in a variety of appellate matters across consulting and representation related to perfecting or resisting an appeal, briefing and argument, amicus curiae, and rule compliance in the appellate courts.

Mike Quinan represents Virginia’s renewable and competitive service providers, having helped start the firm’s Competitive and Renewable Energy practice in 2019. His practice is a mix of general business litigation, administrative law, public utilities work, and representation of other clients in a variety of regulated businesses and industries. 

Cliona Robb leads the firm’s Competitive and Renewable Energy practice with Mike, and is regarded as one of Virginia’s leading experts and staunch defenders of the interests of renewable and competitive service providers, as well as municipal, industrial, and commercial customers of electric, natural gas, and water utilities. A LEED® Accredited Professional (AP), Cliona regularly works on renewable energy transactions involving solar power, wind power, and landfill gas, and advises energy lobbyists working in the Virginia General Assembly.

Andrea Yoak is an elder law and estate planning attorney who represents institutional and individual clients in obtaining adult guardianships, including serving as fiduciary where necessary. She also serves as guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults and for children in infant settlement/personal injury matters.
